Laura Van Gompel is a pioneer in her field. In 2010 she moved to Mexico, where she lived for almost 10 years and worked as a lawyer. At the law firm “Von Wobeser y Sierra”, she assisted a.o. Grupo Modelo, Motorola Solutions, Tequila Don Julio, Jugos del Valle, Santander and Coca-Cola FEMSA. Later, Laura switched to the Family Office of the shareholder of Grupo Liverpool, Mexico’s largest publicly traded retail company. There she was head of legal. Between 2017 and 2019, Laura was an assisting manager legal – attorney at Sony Mexico.

Laura holds two law degrees: a Bachelor (2010) and Master (2020) of Laws from KU Leuven and a Master of Laws (2014) from ITESM University in Mexico.

Some curious facts: This intercultural lady works in Dutch, Spanish, English, French and German. She regularly gives seminars and training courses on topics within her area of expertise.
