Last June, our colleagues, Laura van Renen and Liezl Steyfkens, both obtained their Master of Law at the KULeuven. They will take their attorney’s oath on September 1st. Congratulations to our colleagues!
At VGA, Laura van Renen focuses mainly on corporate housekeeping and conflict management. She obtained her Bachelor of Law in 2020 from the University of Hasselt. In 2019, she also completed a summer course focusing on transnational organized crime at Università Degli Studi di Napoli Federico II. Laura graduated from the KULeuven, obtaining her Master of Laws in 2022 majoring in economic law. She joined VGA as a legal support in 2022.
Liezl Steyfkens’ specialties are data protection and corporate housekeeping. She joined the VGA team in 2022 as a legal support. Liezl first graduated cum laude from the University of Hasselt, where she earned her Bachelor of Laws in 2020. Like Laura, she also obtained her Master of Laws in 2022 from the KULeuven, where she majored in criminal law. Apart from the analytical and critical approach she applies to all of her projects and cases, she is an avid reader and our “unofficial” office barista.
We are already looking forward to September 1, when they will take their attorney’s oaths. Again, congratulations to our colleagues!
